Three-nager!

I finally now get why they call them three-nagers!  Yes, my sweet boy recently turned three and he is definitely testing the waters more and have some outbursts.  He really is sweet most of the time, but he has his moments and knows how to get under our skin.  We've tried different ways of disciplining, to each their own, but what seems to be working for him are time outs or taking things away and having him earn them back.

I'm totally that mom that judged other moms before, because "my child would never act like that"!  Well, here I am eating my words and hoping that other moms aren't judging me!  Ouch!  Anyways, we will find a new normal and in the mean time I will do my best to try to stay positive, patient and teach him coping skills and some manners!  These are life skills people that he needs to learn and develop now so he can function and flourish in school and the real world one day!

Some of my recent favorites of my baby, I mean BIG boy!

We love you so much Ellis, you are the light of our lives!  You're are sweet, sensitive, expressive and strong willed.  You love big and like to be on the go.  You love to "work" on your cars like Daddy and like to talk nonstop.  You are very smart and inquisitive.  You will always be our baby, we love you!
