PLAY DATES
After going back to work full time, I have really enjoyed going on playdates with friends and our kids this summer! We like to go to the park, the splash pad, out to eat, museums or just hanging out at our homes and letting the kids play while we catch up a little. It's so nice to spend quality time with friends and other moms, as well as giving Ellis time to play with friends too.

LITTLE GYM
This week, Ellis tried his first gymnastics class at The Little Gym. He has never done anything like this before, and is pretty attached to mama, so I wan anxious to see how he'd do. He ran right in with a smile on his face and ran around free, which is so unlike him. I think it helped there were big windows everywhere so he could see me. He had fun and did great; he didn't actually do much of what they were doing, but he watched and ran around and joined in some. I thought he did great for his first time and I think it would help him be more social and with his gross motor skills as well.

FASHION FOR ELLIS
I love my little guy to look cute and stylish. I tend to dress him on the preppy side and hardly ever athletic. I know that will change soon as he gets older! Most of his CLOTHES we get from Gap. They are great quality and not too expensive when we catch stuff on sale. He has several Ralph Lauren polo shirts and t-shirts too. I also like Old Navy and Cat & Jack and the Oshkosh stuff from Target. I also like to dress him in polos and button up shirts for church or to look nice for whatever we're going to.
Check out these cute items on SALE right now from GAP!
My all time favorites summer SHOES are Natives. They are comfortable, easy to slip on and off, go with everything, can wear in the water, and you can wash them. They're also supposed to be no odor, but they still make his feet stink sometimes, but not like some shoes. He has them in a navy color and he wears them all the time! Our other favorites for summer our his Salt Water Sandals. He has them in a tan leather and they are so cute and look so nice with his preppy outfits and especially for church.
FOUR.
CURBSIDE
If you are lucky enough to have an HEB near you, you should definitely try the curbside service. We have been using it for a while now and at least twice a month. It is so convenient and saves me at least an hour of my time. My hubby hates grocery shopping too, but will pick it up via curbside a lot for us after work and it is so nice. You order online, pick a date and time, then they bring it out to you and load it up for you. I think it is free the first 4X then a $5 charge after that, but it is so worth it. I usually end up spending less too, because I don't buy all the extra stuff we really don't need when I'm browsing. I would recommend giving it a try, especially for you busy moms out there!

FIVE.
My latest weakness has been iced coffee, specifically McDonald's vanilla iced coffee. Yes, you read that right, McDonald's! I love me some Starbucks, but it gets pricey and it is a little strong for me. I like a little coffee with my creamer, if you know what I mean. So, my mom got me hooked on this and I drink it about twice a week. It's good, cheap, not too bad for you and right up the road from me. Give it a try!
